Stephen Senn, CROS NT Statistical Scientific Board, to Lead Statistics Workshop at BIOEurope Spring

CROS NT is attending the BIO Europe Spring Conference in Barcelona, Spain: 11-13 March both as delegates and presenters.

Stephen Senn, who is a member of the CROS NT Statistical Scientific Board and Head of Competence Centre for Methodology and Statistics at CRP-Santé in Luxembourg, is on a panel which is leading a workshop on "How to Avoid a Proof of Concept Failure". Stephen's workshop will take place during the session on Monday, 11 March at 9 am. The workshop covers how good study design, statistical approaches, protocol feasibility and site selection can substantially reduce the risk of cost overruns, delayed timelines and failed studies.

Stephen has over 15 years of statistical consultancy experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the UK, mainland Europe and the U.S. He spent 8 years as a Statistician and Group Head in the pharmaceutical industry in Switzerland followed by 8 years as a Pharmaceutical and Health Statistics Professor in England. He is a Chartered Statistician of the Royal Statistical Society, and a member of the Swiss Statistical Association and the American Statistical Association.

Stephen is representing the CROS NT Statistical Scientific Board is a prestigious group of prominent statisticians who serve as a think tank for statistical methodology and offer consultancy on statistical challenges facing the clinical trial environment.
